Angular contact ball bearings installation method and steps in pairs

   When installing angular contact ball bearings, notice that the bearing ring can adapt to the rolling of the rolling elements to ensure that the rolling elements are on the raceways of the upper and lower rings. The installation method of the paired angular contact ball bearings is:

1.Usually, the feeler gauge is used for detection. For angular contact ball bearings with relatively large diameters, the clearance is very large, so a narrower feeler gauge should be used for direct measurement. For angular contact ball bearings with a small diameter, the gap will be very small, so there is no need to use a feeler gauge to measure, then use the side clearance of the angular contact ball bearing to measure, and use a thickness feeler gauge to measure.

2. Another method is to measure the gap of angular contact ball bearing by pressing lead. The soft lead wire used should be very soft and the diameter should not be too long or too small. The most ideal is directly 1.5-2 times the gap.

   When inspecting, first open the cover of the angular contact ball bearing, select an appropriate soft lead wire, cut it into small pieces and place it on the bearing neck and the interface between the upper and lower bearings, cover the bearing cover, tighten the screw bolt, and then loosen it. Bolts, remove the bearing cover, measure the thickness of the flattened lead wire with a micrometer, and obtain the average value of the top clearance of the angular contact ball bearing. If the gap is too small, pads can be placed on the joint surface of the upper and lower tiles. If it is too large, the pads can be reduced or the tiles can be poured again.

   After the installation and inspection, if there is no abnormal angular contact ball bearing, it can work normally.
