Bearing rust prevention is an important work, especially between processes of rust prevention. For example, after pickling, cleaning and grinding, there are still many processes in the heat treatment plant. When the product is not flow production, it must be processed in turn and stored in the intermediate warehouse, so the bearing ring stored in the process must be rust-proof.
The following methods are commonly used for inter-process rust prevention:
Immersion in rust preventing tank The bearing rings were immersed in an aqueous solution of 5% sodium nitrite and 0.6% sodium carbonate. It has good anti-rust effect, but needs a lot of anti-rust tanks and other equipment, occupies a large space and is inconvenient to manage.
After dipping in a concentrated sodium nitrite solution to clean the product, immerse it in a solution containing 15% -20% sodium nitrite and 0.6% sodium carbonate, and then stack it. The rust-proof period of this method is relatively short, usually only 7-14 days, in the rainy season, due to humid weather, can only be preserved for 2-3 days.
The antirust oil is use as a finished product for oiling.
