Slewing bearing is a kind of large bearing with special structure, which can bear large axial load, radial load and overturning moment at the same time, and has many functions such as supporting, rotating, driving and fixing.
When installing the turntable bearing, we must do a good job of correlation inspection, or matters needing attention when installing, for this large bearing, we must do a good job of maintenance, storage and other work, in order to avoid the following damage to the turntable bearing, resulting in abnormal use.
Installation of turntable bearing Before installing the turntable bearing, check the installation surface of the main machine. The supporting parts shall have sufficient strength. The connecting surface shall be machined. The surface shall be flat and free of sundries and burrs. For those that cannot be machined to achieve the required flatness, special plastic with high injection strength can be used as filler to ensure the accuracy of the installation plane and to reduce vibration. The ring of the turntable bearing has a quenched soft zone, which is marked on the end face of the ring.
Maintenance of turntable bearing: After the turntable bearing is installed and put into operation for 100 hours of continuous operation, the pre-tightening torque of the installation bolt shall be fully checked to see if it meets the requirements, and the above check shall be repeated every 500 hours of continuous operation. The turntable bearing should be filled with an appropriate amount of grease after installation, and the bearing should be filled while rotating so that the grease is evenly distributed. The turntable bearing will inevitably lose a part of lubricating grease after working for a period of time, so the lubricating grease should be replenished once every 50 ~ 100 hours for the turntable bearing in normal operation.
