In order to increase the wear of bearing parts, maintain bearing accuracy stability, extend the service life, bearing steel should have good wear resistance.

Hardness is one of the most important qualities of bearing quality, which has an indirect impact on contact fatigue strength, wear resistance and elastic limit. The hardness of bearing steel in use should individually reach HRC61~65, which enables the bearing to achieve higher contact fatigue strength and wear resistance.

(4) rust resistance

In order to avoid the corrosion and rust of bearing parts and finished products in the process of processing, storage and application, it is requested that bearing steel should have good antirust performance.

(5) Machining performance

In the consumption process of bearing parts, there are many cold and hot processing procedures. In order to meet the requirements of a small amount, high efficiency and high quality, bearing steel should have good processing performance. For example, cold, hot forming performance, cutting performance, hardenability and so on.
