Bearing Steel

Bearing steel, also known as high-carbon chromium steel, carbon content Wc is about 1%, chromium content Wcr is 0.5% -1.65%. Bearing steel is divided into high carbon chromium bearing steel, chromium-free bearing steel, carburizing bearing steel, stainless steel, high temperature bearing steel and antimagnetic bearing steel six categories.

Bearing steel is the steel used to make balls, rollers and bearing rings. Bearing steels have high and uniform hardness and wear resistance, as well as a high elastic limit. Bearing steel is one of the most stringent steel grades in all steel production, which has strict requirements on the uniformity of chemical composition, the content and distribution of non-metallic inclusions, and the distribution of carbide.

1, high contact fatigue strength,

5. Good impact toughness and fracture toughness, 

6. Good dimensional stability, 

7. Good rust resistance, 

8. Good cold and hot workability.
